Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

Oliver Fire Solutions provides professional fire safety services including, but not limited to:

  • Event fire safety cover
  • Fire marshals and fire wardens
  • Fire risk assessments
  • Emergency planning assistance
  • Fire safety staff training
  • Fire extinguisher provision and hire
  • General fire safety consultancy

All services are delivered in accordance with current UK fire safety legislation and industry best practice.

2. Bookings

All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or signed agreement.

Oliver Fire Solutions reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where:

  • Safety standards cannot be maintained
  • False or misleading information has been provided
  • Payment terms have not been met

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required to secure bookings.
  • Full payment must be made before the event or service commencement date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late payments may incur additional charges.
  • Any additional hours or services requested outside the original agreement will be charged accordingly.

4. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the booking date may receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
  • Cancellations within 7-14 days of the booking may be subject to a 50% charge.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the booking may be charged in full.

Oliver Fire Solutions reserves the right to cancel services due to extreme weather, unsafe conditions, staff illness, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate event and venue information
  • Ensure suitable site access and working conditions
  • Inform Oliver Fire Solutions of any known hazards or risks
  • Comply with all safety advice given by our personnel

Failure to do so may result in services being suspended or terminated.

6. Liability

Oliver Fire Solutions will carry out all services with reasonable skill, care, and professionalism.

However:

  • We cannot guarantee the prevention of all incidents or emergencies.
  • Our liability is limited to the total value of the service provided.
  • We are not responsible for losses caused by factors outside our control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where prohibited under UK law.

7. Insurance

Oliver Fire Solutions maintains appropriate Public Liability Insurance relevant to the services provided.

Proof of insurance can be supplied upon request.

8. Health & Safety

All clients, staff, contractors, and visitors must comply with applicable UK health and safety legislation while services are being delivered.

Any abusive, threatening, or unsafe behaviour towards staff will result in immediate removal of services.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

Oliver Fire Solutions handles customer information in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws.

Personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties without consent unless legally required.

10. Website Information

Information displayed on this website is for general guidance only and may be updated or amended without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
